Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi and other secular musicians have inspired – Gospel Hypers

Most Ghanaian gospel musicians say they either grew up singing to the songs of secular music or have been inspired for growth by the hard work and attitude, some of this veterans attach to their work.
In a recent interview with Zion Felix on his  Uncut YouTube show, Ghanaian legendary gospel singers, Daughters of Glorious Jesus concur that they have been so inspired by some of these people in many ways.
When asked to name their favorite secular musician, Daughters mentioned Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba, Pat Thomas, Samini, Kofi Kinaata, the late Jewel Ackah and others.
According to the trio, they have a strong relationship with some of them. They continue that Kojo Antwi has even invited them on two different occasions for his 24th December concert. Aside from that, they have ever planned of collaborating with the legendary late Jewel Ackah on a single before his untimely death.
They were asked if they would love to collaborate with Kofi Kinaata on his ‘Things fall apart’ hit song should the artiste make the call, Cynthia (the lead vocalist) who claims to have heard the song but not every detail says
“Truth be told, everything we do is governed by the leadings of the Holy Spirit. If he comes and God says we should go ahead, why not. We would love to”
Daughters are poised to surprise their fans and gospel music lovers in 2020 as they are ready to take their ministry to a whole new different level. This may include working with some renowned secular artists as led by the Spirit of God.
