Telecel Ghana Music Awards: Queendalyn earns nomination as Best female vocal performance

The Telecel Ghana Music Awards has long been regarded as a pinnacle event in the Ghanaian music calendar, and its 25th edition promises to be a milestone celebration like no other.

In the field of gospel, the likes of Nacee, Diana Hamilton, Queendalyn Yurglee, Joyce Blessing, Mabel Okyere, Perez Musik, Piesie Esther, Joe Mettle, and Scott Evans received nominations in different categories .

It came as not much of a surprise and a met expectation as Gospel singer  Queendalyn Yurglee received her very first entry in the category of Best Female vocal performance with her song Hold My Hands.

During the year under review, Queendalyn worked extremely hard pushing the gospel through music and also releasing her maiden EP titled “The Birth” which had hit songs like Come and See Ft Akesse Brempong, HonHom Kronkron Featuring Abaawa Connie and Diana Hopeson, Hold My Hands, and others.

Hold My Hands off the Birth Ep has received plausible reviews and has blessed many lives across the world after its release.

Reacting to the overwhelming news of her nomination, Queendalyn said “I’m thankful to God and the organizers who found Hold My Hands worthy of these nomination, she stated.

Marking their silver jubilee this year, Telecel Ghana Music Awards spotlight and celebrate remarkable musical achievements by Ghanaian artists spanning various genres including highlife, hiplife, Afropop and traditional music. Notable award categories include New Artist, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Most Popular Song of the Year and Artist of the Year.
